Abstract

Thinking about the contexts of Brazilian Higher Education is also (re)thinking about its internationalization process, and the way in which institutional objectives and practices have been modified. All of these changes involve linguistic aspects and are centered on new conceptions of linguistic and internationalization policies. In view of the above, this article aims to raise reflections on this process, with the presentation of a vision of internationalization that privileges approaches aimed at the epistemic South, and which highlights items 4 and 10 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As a preliminary result, it is possible to highlight the perception of construction, through education, of a more sustainable, supportive, towards the South and decolonial world.
