Abstract

This bibliographic, documentary, and interpretive study, conducted in the local context of the state of Sergipe, aims to analyze the digital didactic resources aimed at English teaching in an application launched by the Secretary of State for Education and Culture of Sergipe during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research focuses on how these resources incorporate or enable critical racial literacy practices and analyzes the representation of black women, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG number 5, which advocates for gender equality. The analyses revealed an underrepresentation of black women in the materials, illustrating the persistent invisibility and marginalization of these figures.
