Abstract

This article discusses the convergence between literary modernism and children's literature, focusing on the Charleston Bulletin, created by Quentin and Julian Bell in collaboration with their aunt, Virginia Woolf. By analyzing this publication, the study aims to understand how intergenerational collaboration resulted in a unique literary product that innovatively blends text and image. The intersection of word and image in the Bulletin reflects modernist practices of formal experimentation and the breaking of traditional conventions. The research deepens the understanding of these intersections, exploring Woolf's contribution and highlighting literary production as a collective and dynamic process, involving multiple generations in a creative dialogue.
