Abstract

Sabine Pfeiffer is a sociologist interested in the interaction between people, technology, and organization. She has worked at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, Ruhr University Bochum, Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen Nuremberg, University of Hohenheim, and the University of Düsseldorf. She recently published the book Digital Capitalism and Distributive Forces. She points out two recurring blind spots. The first one is the lack of approaches to value and value creation. The second is the absence of interpretations on the realization of value on the market–a central function of the distributive forces.
