The PCB and the left in the Present Time in Brazil

Abstract

This essay discusses the trajectory of the Brazilian Communist Party (PCB) and how it is located in Brazilian theoretical and political elaboration throughout the 20th century. It seeks to demonstrate that ideas such as the "revolution by stages" or alliances with the "progressive bourgeoisie" are elements that continuously appear in his elaborations, since the 1920s. For this purpose, documents produced by the PCB are presented and analyzed. and by other left-wing organizations throughout the 20th century.
