Abstract
The article intends to problematize the relationship between the neo-Pentecostal media pastors Silas Malafaia and Marco Feliciano and the resurgence of conservatism in Brazil that has attacked feminist movements and the struggle for the rights of the LGBTQIA+ population. In order to do so, we will present a discussion regarding the notions of conservatism and neoconservatism as nomenclatures used to define the aforementioned movement.
