Abstract

The article aims for a theoretical and methodological reflection on the relationship between the teaching of Shoah history in Basic Education and the construction of the student's view on the verbal-visuality of the images of objects and traumatic places produced by the Holocaust. The verb-visuality concept, from Bakhtinian language, consists in the production of meaning and meaning effects between writing and image, which makes it a strategy for the perception of the Shoah theme through photography.
