Impact of Corporate Governance on State-Owned Enterprises

Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate how the best application of corporate governance in state-owned enterprises allows to achieve high levels of profitability and efficiency, contributing permanently to the State and the population assisted by generating revenue and ensuring this receipt in a robust and perennial way. A research will be conducted in relation to the main models adopted in Brazil, using graphical analysis, accounting and research of reports of the results achieved by state-run companies, demonstrating how the success of these institutions is perfectly achievable and necessary to fulfill their social and economic role.
