interaction. All of them are possible, but certainly unequal, as they proceed from different
understandings of what philosophy, psychology, and clinical practice are. One of these possible
forms of interaction is Historiobiography (Critelli, 2012), which I have been developing over
the years and which has ended up being structured as a theoretical-practical methodology based,
generically, on phenomenology and, specifically, on the thought of Hannah Arendt. My
intention here is to present Historiobiography, not in its entirety, but to characterize the type of
relationship it establishes between philosophy and psychology. And since experience has had
and continues to have a preponderant role in its constitution, the very history of its formation
will serve as our guiding thread.
