In this article, we first critically present the main characteristics of Latin American modernity. Second, we initiate a dialogue between critical theories: European and Latin American heterodox Marxism, decoloniality, communitarian feminisms, and liberation theology. Third, we characterize our theories between romanticism and melancholy. And fourth, we conclude by presenting the possibilities of emancipatory transitions. The methodology used was the reading of classical authors and commentators on the theories analyzed. As a result, we understand that social subjectivities are constructed in the interaction between feelings, practices, and thoughts (SentisPraxisPensares), which, from an emancipatory perspective, tend to heal, care for, and enjoy Good Living.
