Abstract

Translation into Portuguese of “Penser/Classer”, text by Georges Perec published in a collection of essays of the same name. In this posthumous text from 1985, the author demonstrates his interest in exploring the universe and its multiplicity, examining its possible links, probing and questioning a possible organizing principle of things. The reflection on the taste for classifications and the organizational frenzy that seems to grip humanity since the beginning of time is at the center of “Penser/Classer”, in the operation of disturbing the conventions of sensitive and established hierarchies, which gives beings and things an unforeseen density that disturbs and surprises.
