Abstract

There is a growing demand for historical knowledge, leading to an increase in public dissemination initiatives in the field through digital formats. However, we also face the challenge of denialism, which finds a broad audience. In this article, we analyze how podcasts have gained relevance in combating denialism and promoting e-learning by engaging with the concept of Public History, examining international practices, and presenting the experience of producing the podcast Fronteiras no Tempo. Podcast media is intertwined with various forms of digital historical education and teaching, serving as a pathway to connect different historical and historiographical communities with broad and diverse audiences, closely aligned with one of the central aspects of Public History.
